1. Who We Are
ITs BizNet Inc. ("ITs BizNet," "we," "us") is an IT consulting company based in the greater Chicagoland area, Illinois, USA, providing AI & ML solutions, cloud architecture, data engineering, custom software, and related consulting services to businesses. This Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit itsbiznet.net (the "Site"), interact with our AI virtual assistant, contact us, or receive our services. Registered address: [FILL-IN street address]. Privacy contact: [FILL-IN privacy@itsbiznet.net].
2. Scope
This Policy covers the Site, our AI assistant chat, email and phone communications, support ticketing, and marketing activities. It does not cover data we process on behalf of business clients under a services agreement — in those engagements we act as a processor/service provider and the client's own privacy notice governs.
3. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Contact and lead details: name, business email address, company, role, and the content of your inquiry when you contact us or request a consultation.
- Email verification: when you provide an email in chat, we send a one-time passcode (OTP) to verify it. We log the verification event.
- Support tickets: your registered email, description of the technical issue, affected systems, severity, and related correspondence.
- AI assistant conversations: the full text of your chat with our virtual assistant (see Section 4).
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring URL, and interaction timestamps.
- Cookies and similar technologies: essential cookies for site function and, with your consent where required, analytics cookies. See Section 7.
What we do not collect
We do not collect payment card data through the Site, do not collect biometric identifiers or biometric information (as defined by the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act), and do not knowingly collect data from children (Section 15). Please do not submit passwords, credentials, health data, or other sensitive personal information through the Site or chat.
4. AI Assistant Disclosure
Our website chat is powered by an automated AI virtual assistant — you are not chatting with a human unless we tell you otherwise. Conversations are recorded and stored to respond to your inquiry, create support tickets, improve the assistant, and maintain security. Chat content may be processed by third-party AI/LLM infrastructure providers acting as our service providers under contract; we do not permit them to use your conversations to train their general-purpose models. [FILL-IN: confirm provider terms] The assistant does not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you. Transcripts may be reviewed by our staff for quality. If you prefer a human, contact us using Section 20.
5. How We Use Information
- Respond to inquiries, schedule consultations, and provide requested information;
- Verify your email (OTP), create and manage support tickets, and deliver support updates;
- Provide, secure, and improve the Site and the AI assistant;
- Send service and, with your consent or as permitted by law, marketing communications (opt out anytime — Section 16);
- Comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, and protect our rights, security, and users.
6. Legal Bases (EEA/UK/Swiss Visitors)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process personal data on these bases: performance of a contract or pre-contract steps (inquiries, support), legitimate interests (site security, service improvement, B2B outreach), consent (analytics cookies, marketing), and legal obligation. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing.
7. Cookies, Analytics & Opt-Out Preference Signals
Essential cookies are always active. Analytics cookies load only after consent where consent is required. You can manage cookies in your browser or via our cookie banner. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) and similar opt-out preference signals as an opt-out of sale/sharing/targeted advertising where state law requires. We do not respond to legacy "Do Not Track" signals, for which no standard exists. Analytics provider(s): [FILL-IN].
8. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose personal information only to:
- Service providers / processors: website hosting and CDN, email delivery and OTP services, CRM and ticketing systems, AI/LLM infrastructure, and analytics — each bound by contract to use data only on our instructions. Current subprocessor list: [FILL-IN];
- Professional advisers (lawyers, accountants, insurers) where necessary;
- Legal and safety recipients when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, or security;
- Business transfers: a successor entity in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this Policy.
9. Data Retention
- Inquiry emails & lead records: [FILL-IN, e.g., 24 months after last contact]
- AI assistant chat transcripts: [FILL-IN, e.g., 12 months]
- Support tickets & correspondence: [FILL-IN, e.g., duration of client relationship + 3 years]
- OTP verification logs: [FILL-IN, e.g., 90 days]
- Analytics data: [FILL-IN, e.g., 14 months]
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or de-identify it, unless a longer period is required by law or ongoing dispute.
10. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the data we handle — including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, least-privilege administration, and our internal DevSecOps practices. No system is completely secure; we will notify affected individuals and regulators of a data breach as required by applicable law, including the Illinois Personal Information Protection Act (815 ILCS 530).
11. Your Privacy Rights (U.S. State Laws)
As of 2026, twenty U.S. states have comprehensive privacy laws in effect — including the Indiana, Kentucky, and Rhode Island laws that took effect January 1, 2026. Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to:
- Know / access the personal information we hold about you and obtain a portable copy;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions;
- Opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, and profiling producing legal or similarly significant effects (we do not conduct these activities);
- Limit use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect sensitive categories in the ordinary course);
- Non-discrimination for exercising any right; and
- Appeal a refusal: reply to our decision email or write to the Section 20 contact; we respond within the period your state law requires (typically 45–60 days).
How to exercise rights: email [FILL-IN privacy@itsbiznet.net] or call [FILL-IN phone]. We verify requests using the email address associated with your records and respond within 45 days (extendable once where permitted). Authorized agents may submit requests with proof of authority.
12. California Notice at Collection (CCPA/CPRA)
For California residents, in the preceding 12 months we collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (name, business email, IP address); commercial information (services inquired about, engagement history); internet or network activity (pages viewed, chat interactions, device data); professional information (company, role); and inferences (service interest derived from your inquiry). None are sold or shared.
We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA, do not use or disclose sensitive personal information beyond permitted purposes, and honor GPC signals. Under the CCPA regulations effective January 1, 2026 on automated decision-making technology (ADMT): our AI assistant is a customer-service tool and is not used to make significant decisions about consumers; no ADMT opt-out is therefore required, and no risk-assessment trigger applies. California's "Shine the Light" law: we do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing.
13. Illinois Residents
We do not collect biometric identifiers or biometric information and therefore have no BIPA retention schedule. Illinois breach notification rights are described in Section 10. Illinois does not yet have a comprehensive consumer privacy law; we voluntarily extend the core rights in Section 11 to all U.S. residents.
14. International Visitors & Data Transfers
The Site is operated from the United States and information is processed in the U.S. If you visit from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved mechanisms with our service providers where required. EEA/UK visitors may lodge complaints with their supervisory authority; our EU/UK representative (if appointed): [FILL-IN or "not appointed — Art. 27 exemption assessed"].
15. Children's Privacy
The Site is a business-to-business service not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16, and we comply with COPPA for children under 13. If you believe a child provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
16. Email & Marketing Communications
Transactional emails (OTP codes, ticket updates, replies to your inquiry) are sent as part of the service and cannot be opted out of while active. Marketing emails comply with CAN-SPAM: a working unsubscribe link in every message, honored within 10 business days, and truthful subject lines and sender identity.
17. Third-Party Links
The Site may link to third-party sites (e.g., LinkedIn, partner pages). Their privacy practices are their own; review their policies before providing information.
18. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be flagged on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and where required by law we will provide additional notice or obtain consent. Continued use of the Site after changes indicates acceptance.
19. Accessibility
